NOW Hiring for ALL Positions for 2018 Drag Racing Season!!


With the drag racing season scheduled to open in less than 7 weeks, its time to start the hiring process for the 2018 season!! These are all part-time, seasonal positions (weekends mostly) from April through October with flexible scheduling of hours/shifts. No Experience is Necessary, we will train you!! However a passion or love for cars and/or drag racing is definitely a plus!!

We are in need of people in all different positions at the track including:

  • Starting Line/Burn Box/Track Prep
  • Concessions/Timeslips/Front Gate & Spectator Gate staff
  • Computer Operator
  • Announcers
  • Grounds Workers

Below are descriptions of each position and what we are looking for. Again, all positions are part-time and seasonal from April through October.

Starter/Starting Line/Burn Box:
Team Members will be responsible for:
-- Ensuring racers can do burnouts by putting water in the boxes as well as sweeping and blowing debris from the burn box and starting line areas
-- Assist Starter on the starting line as necessary, being attentive to the vehicles and watch for leaking cars and other safety issues
– Learn how to flip the starters switch and help run the race event and know what to look for
-- Will assist with track prep as well as track cleanups when necessary
-- Will operate equipment such as blowers, torches, tractor, 4-wheeler, track sprayer and truck as needed
-- Must be able to work weekends and stand for long periods of time
-- Will be working in the heat as well as cold

Basic Fire Fighting 1 Training is mandatory.
This position will assist when needed to with towing of vehicles, track cleanup of oil downs, possible fires and extraction, if necessary. EMT or First Responder training a plus.

Concessions/Timeslips/Gate Staff:
Looking for:
-- Outgoing and energetic personality

-- Food safety knowledge a plus
-- Ability to count back money - cashier experience a plus
-- Works well in a fast-paced environment
-- 16 years minimum age
-- Must be available to work weekends (Sat/Sun)
-- Team Oriented
-- Willingness to learn and be devoted to your position
-- Must be able to work in the heat and cold
-- Requires standing for long periods of time

Computer Operator:
– Person(s) applying for this position must have basic computer knowledge
– Must be able to work at a fast pace when necessary
-- Must be detail oriented and very accurate

– Must be able to handle high pressure situations and communicate effectively with other staff and racers
-- Responsible for entering racer data/information into the track timing system
-- Responsible for entering Racer's Car # and Dial-In Correctly
– Knowledge or experience operating a Compulink Timing System a huge plus!

Grounds Workers:
Looking for people to help maintain the race track facility during the week (Monday through Friday).  Duties would include:
-- Mowing Grass
-- Weed Trimming
-- Spraying Weeds
-- Painting
-- Other Miscellaneous

We are looking for a couple of good announcers for our 2018 Drag Racing Events. A passion for cars and drag racing as well as knowledge of drag racing and its terminology is EXTREMELY helpful as well as announcing experience. Willing to train.
Positions are part-time, seasonal (Apr - Oct) and on weekends.
Great gig for a retired drag racer, someone who wants to be at the track but maybe can’t afford to or doesn't race anymore.
Pay Varies Based on Experience & Knowledge
